Dedicated Azure engineers

Hire Azure engineers led by a certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Need an Azure engineer to land a web app, tidy a subscription that grew without a plan, or bring the monthly bill back under control? DayDecoder’s founder holds Microsoft’s Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. Our team works from Ahmedabad, India, keeps overlap hours with the US, UK, Europe and Australia, and leaves you owning every subscription and script.

What an Azure engineer from DayDecoder does.

Azure work here is the ordinary production kind: hosting a product, shipping it safely, watching it, and keeping the invoice readable. It is not a slide deck about digital transformation.

Our cloud and DevOps service lists Azure next to AWS and Google Cloud: migration, architecture, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, security and cost optimisation, including AKS for Kubernetes and Azure Functions for serverless pieces. The founder passed Microsoft’s Azure Solutions Architect Expert exam in 2022, and the cloud cost page lists the Azure levers we use in audits: Microsoft Cost Management, budgets and alerts, Azure Advisor, reservations, the savings plan for compute, Spot VMs, Blob Storage access tiers and Front Door.

An honest note on proof. None of the public case studies on this site list Azure in their stack today; most of those products were hosted on AWS. The projects linked below are the closest public examples of the same work an Azure hire does: Laravel and API products with queues, file storage, caching and payment flows that have to stay up. If your procurement team needs a named Azure reference, tell us on the first call and we will be straight about what we can show under NDA and what we cannot.

  • Landing a product on Azure

App Service or Container Apps for the web tier, Azure Database for MySQL or PostgreSQL, Blob Storage for uploads, and a virtual network that is designed rather than discovered.

  • Kubernetes when it is earned

AKS for workloads that genuinely need orchestration. For one Laravel API and a worker, we will usually recommend something smaller and say why.

  • Pipelines and environments

Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions, staging that mirrors production, secrets in Key Vault, and database migrations that run as part of the deploy.

  • Cost-aware operations

Budgets, alerts, right-sizing, storage tiering and a monthly read of Cost Management. Savings are measured on your bill, never promised as a percentage on this page.

Skills and tool stack

Azure services an engineer here works in.

The usual production set for web products, plus the cost tools from our cloud cost practice. We do not switch on a new service because it was announced last week.

Expect comfort with Entra ID roles and managed identities, resource groups that map to environments, App Service and Container Apps, AKS, Azure Functions, managed databases, Blob Storage, Front Door or Azure CDN, Application Insights and Log Analytics. Infrastructure is written as Bicep, Terraform or scripts in your repository, so the next engineer can read it.

Engagement models

A dedicated Azure engineer, a part-time cloud seat, or hourly help.

A product that lives on Azure usually wants a recurring owner. A broken pipeline or a surprise line on the invoice can be an hourly job.

Dedicated full-time Azure engineer

Owns environments, deployments, monitoring and the bill. Makes sense when cloud work arrives every week and your developers should not also be on call for networking.

Part-time dedicated

A few reserved days a week beside your product team for hardening, cost reviews and the next environment. The same person each time, so context is not lost.

Hourly Azure help

A failed deployment, a storage account that is public by mistake, a quota you hit on launch day. Time-logged. If a quick fix turns out to be a migration, we scope it as one.

Hiring process

How an Azure hire joins your tenant.

Least privilege from day one. We never ask for a global administrator login to start.

  1. 1

    Intro call and read-only look

A 30-minute call with the founder. If it helps, you grant Reader and Cost Management Reader so we can see the shape of the subscriptions before proposing anything.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Dedicated, part-time or hourly, and whether month one is landing, hardening or cost. If a one-off cost audit is the real need, we say so.

  3. 3

    Scoped access

Role assignments limited to the resource groups we will touch, with MFA. Infrastructure changes go through your repository, not the portal alone.

  4. 4

    First reversible change

A budget alert, a storage lifecycle rule or a staging fix. Small, visible proof that we can change your environment safely.

  5. 5

    Weekly ops demo

What changed, what it cost and what still needs attention, shown from your own portal during your overlap hours.

Azure operations across US, UK, EU and Australian hours.

We work from Ahmedabad, India. Deployments and incident calls are planned for overlap: afternoons for the UK and Europe, an early-morning or late-evening window for the US, and mornings for Australia. Maintenance windows are written down in advance, not improvised during your busiest hour.

Azure regions are global; your customers are not. If the product serves one market, we choose the region and the maintenance window around that market. If you sell across several regions, we talk about where the data must live before adding another region for comfort.

  • United States

Morning updates waiting in your inbox when the US workday starts.

  • United Kingdom

Same-day overlap for calls, reviews, and decisions.

  • Europe

Afternoon overlap with Central and Eastern European teams.

  • Australia

Early-morning calls that fit the Australian workday.

Why hire Azure engineers from DayDecoder.

An architect-level certification on the founder, a documented cost practice, and a team that already runs production web apps.

  • Certified, and still hands-on

Azure Solutions Architect Expert, 2022, alongside AWS and Google Cloud architect credentials on the same founder. The person on the call is involved in the work.

  • Product context, not just infrastructure

Our engineers build the Laravel and Node.js applications that run on these platforms, so queues, workers and file uploads are familiar, not a mystery.

  • Cost without theatre

We use Microsoft’s own tools to show where the money goes. We do not put invented savings figures on a hire page.

  • You own everything

The tenant and subscriptions stay in your name. Scripts and templates we write belong to you after payment. We are not a reseller standing between you and Microsoft.

Relevant work

Closest public work for an Azure hire.

No public case study lists Azure yet, so these are cloud-hosted products with the same moving parts: queues, storage, caching and payments. Client names stay confidential.
