A price comparison platform for India that compares a product's price across major online stores, shows price history, and alerts shoppers when a price drops, earning revenue through affiliate links.
The challenge
Shoppers check several marketplaces for the same product and never know whether today's price is actually a deal. The business needed accurate, fresh prices across stores, matched to the right product, on fast pages that can rank in search.
What we built
We built a Laravel platform with products, brands, categories, variants and store links, and a scraping pipeline (Playwright) with scrape jobs, fetch attempts and product matching to keep prices current. Shoppers get store-wise comparison tables, price history, lowest-price badges, watchlists and price-drop alerts by email and Telegram. SEO landing pages like "best under a price" and brand pages bring in search traffic, and an API serves a browser extension and mobile app.
