Sell, price and ship second-hand fashion, and share proceeds with charities
A resale marketplace where people send in pre-loved clothes and shoes, the operator grades, prices and lists each piece, and sellers earn payouts or donate part of the proceeds to verified NGOs.
The challenge
Resale fashion is a long chain: collecting lots from sellers, grading every piece, setting a fair price, shipping, returns and paying sellers. Pricing had to be consistent across thousands of items with different brands, conditions and flaws.
What we built
We built a Laravel platform covering the full flow: sellers book lot pickups, the warehouse logs pieces with detailed attributes, a rules engine suggests prices from category, brand, condition, material, size and flaws, and the storefront handles cart, coupons, checkout, returns and invoices. Payout rules calculate what each seller earns, paid out to bank accounts, with an option to support registered NGOs. A JWT API serves the mobile app.
