Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancellations, refunds and unused prepayments are handled for our software services.

Effective 26 October 2026 · Last updated 26 October 2026

We deliver custom software services, so most of our work is created specifically for each client. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. If your signed proposal or contract has different terms, those terms apply.

Consultations and proposals

Initial consultation calls and proposals are free, so there is nothing to refund.

Cancelling a project

You can cancel a project at any time by writing to us. You pay for the work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated against the agreed milestones or hours, plus any third-party costs we have already committed to on your behalf. We hand over all completed work that has been paid for.

Advance and milestone payments

  • If you cancel before any work on a milestone has started, we refund the advance paid for that milestone in full, minus any non-refundable third-party costs.
  • Once work on a milestone has started, the payment for that milestone covers the work done and is not refundable, but any unused portion of a larger prepayment is refunded.
  • Accepted and delivered milestones are not refundable.

Dedicated developer and time-and-materials engagements

These can be ended with the notice period stated in your contract (15 days if none is stated). Unused prepaid hours or days are refunded after the notice period ends.

Defects

If a deliverable does not meet the agreed scope, we will fix it free of charge within the warranty period. Fixing the work is our first remedy before any refund is considered.

Third-party costs

Hosting, domains, software licences, paid APIs and app store fees bought for your project are paid to those providers and follow their own refund rules.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid within 14 business days to the original payment method, in the original currency. Bank or payment gateway charges and exchange rate differences may apply.
